Wahguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Wahguru Ji Ki Fateh!Sikh Rehat Maryada Nitnem is a collaboration of Nitnem (as per Sikh Rehat Maryada from Sri Akal Takhat Sahib) and other Banis' that were designated to be read by Sikhs every day. This app is based on Vishrams and Shudh Ucharan from Sikh Missionary College Chauntan Kalan Gutka sahib. The banis' contain orange color vishram with extra spacing to show where to take a brief pause during recital.
Gurbani Vyakarn is very important for Sikhs and utmost importance should be given to ucharan and vishram during recital. Guru Arjun Patshah has given respect to Bhai Gurdas Ji's bani by saying that its the key to opening the treasure of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. Bhai Gurdas Ji's Kabit shows the importance of shudh Ucharan.

If all the characters (ਲਗ) in a word are not properly pronounced, the word loses its literal meaning. It’s like calling a father the son, or a son the father.
ਕੋਟਨਿ ਕੋਟਨਿ ਤਿਲ ਮਹਿਮਾ ਅਗਾਧਿ ਬੋਧਿ ਨਮੋ ਨਮੋ ਦ੍ਰਿਸਟਿ ਦਰਸ ਸਬਦ ਸ੍ਰੋਤ ਕੈ||
The praise of viewing and visualizing (ਦ੍ਰਿਸਟਿ ਦਰਸ) Bani and hearing it with your ears (ਸ੍ਰੋਤ) cannot be written down.
