Undrar du var bussen håller hus ibland? Med “Var är bussen” ser du var såväl bussen som vagnen och färjan är när den inte kommer i tid, så du vet om du ska vänta eller ta dig dit du ska på annat sätt.Så här fungerar det:
När du öppnar appen känner den med hjälp av GPS:en i din mobil av var du är och väljer automatiskt den hållplats som ligger närmast. Därifrån väljer du önskad linje, riktning, trafikslag och hållplats och trycker sedan på ”Hitta” så markeras både du och din buss på en karta. Du kan när som helst ändra dina val ovanför kartan. Du kan även komma tillbaka till startsidan genom att trycka på krysset uppe till vänster. Hur du gör för att nollställa appen? Skaka.
GPS:en i vald buss, vagn eller färja skickar sin position till appen med 30-120 sekunders mellanrum, och var 30:e sekund visar appen hur mycket fordonet rört på sig. Positionen som visas på kartan kan alltså vara några sekunder gammal. Hur gammal, och hur lång tid det är till nästa positionskontroll, står under kartan.
Undantaget tåg fungerar ”Var är bussen” på alla Västtrafiks fordon i hela Västra Götalandsregionen.
