LiteLight consente di tracciare e geolocalizzare i comportamenti virtuosi delle persone in relazione al consumo delle risorse ambientali.Il fine del progetto è promuovere una cultura condivisa del risparmio energetico e ispirare le altre persone a fare altrettanto.
E' possibile condividere le proprie scelte in termini di risparmio, selezionandole da una lista.
Una mappa mostrerà il luogo in cui tali scelte sono state messe in atto, con la possibilità di accedere al dettaglio di ciascuna partecipazione.
Dall'osservazione della mappa è possibile identificare quali aree geografiche risultino più impegnate e mettano in atto azioni concrete per il risparmio delle risorse.
Possono inoltre essere inviati dei suggerimenti sulle pratiche da attuare per attenuare i consumi.
LiteLight è accessibile sia dalle applicazioni mobili che da web.
LiteLight aderisce alla manifestazione "M'illumino di meno" promossa da Caterpillar e Radio Due che si prefigge lo scopo di sensibilizzare le persone all'utilizzo consapevole dell'energia e alla razionalizzazione delle risorse al fine di evitare gli sprechi.
