1 ★Missing functions. No clean filter button to clear it. No 100% fan speed. Poor design. After using this app for a few months, my air conditioner wasn't cooling. Uninstalled this app, and installed the old midea app. And it started working again. For some reason, this app can't turn on the compressor in my ushaped midea air conditioner.
4 ★I've had this ac for over a year. Here's the good. I can set the schedule to turn on at 5 never had an issue, works great with Google home. The bad. The app is blah you have to restart the app because it said it isn't connected. I rarely use the app and just control it through Google. I personally have never had any problems with the unit itself, just the app sucks.
1 ★I'm not sure why I was forced to switch to this app. It does look a little nicer than the older midea app but it does really work. The app constantly says my device is on when it is not, sometimes nothing happens when I change the settings, and occasionally it won't connect to the server. Midea, please get it together. The more I use it the worse it gets. I had to drop it down to one star.
1 ★Doesn't Stay Connected. Regretting buying this unit. What good is it if I can't use the smart app? It gives you no ability to reconnect your wifi to a unit already on the app??? Why? Instead it just asks if your network or password has changed or is a weak signal and none of those instances apply. I have a 5 & 2.4ghz networks and it's no longer finding the latter. Lame! The worst part of that is that a list with no solution to reconnect it is so immensely laughable. What are you doing devs?
1 ★Horrible app. Will not allow me to connect my new device. Just hangs during setup. I wish I checked the reviews on this before making purchase. UPDATE: Tried what developer recommended, but still not working with same issue. The device is a Toshiba ML-EM34P(SS). When going from the view in app where I enter my wifi password and click Next, the Loading (spinning wheel) comes up, it advances to the next screen/view (Set Microwave Oven), but the Loading never goes away.
1 ★Missing features of the old Midea Air app. Edit: AC control is completely missing the ability to silence the unit. It's not hiding on another page. The schedule ability no longer has the calendar view, which makes complex schedules nearly impossible. Also nit hiding on another page. Edit2: Absolutely useless. No matter the setting. The scheduler will only set the temperature to the max
1 ★Google Assistant integration is completely broken. Every time I go to link my MSmartLife account in the Google Home app, it takes me back to this one to accept. After clicking accept, it doesn't add anything to my home & doesn't link my account either. The rest of this app is pretty bare bones & seems to focus more on coding its iOS-esque interface than the rest of the features that make an actually functional app. I personally bought a Toshiba Microwave that told me to use this app & can't even adjust the number of seconds you're microwaving something for. I hope you like cooking exclusively in one minute intervals, because it's all you get. Please add a tab in the app itself to link with services (Alexa & Google) so it's not such a pain & please fix the linking process as well. Also, please fix the cooking time feature so we can at least specify the number of seconds. Until then, this app really sucks.
1 ★I like the dehumidifier however the app has some significant issues. It appeared to work ok the first day while on the local wifi but a day later when I left the home I had difficulty. It seems to connect but my settings appear to be lost and when I try to reset them it doesn't work and I can't tell why because the error messages are in Chinese. Hoping an app and/or firmware update resolves the issues.
1 ★Horrible!!! The new app doesn't wanna work, and it keeps resetting the temp in Celsius. We keep changing it to Fahrenheit, but it will not stay. While ago, the whole app was doing what it wanted & I couldn't control it. Plus, only one of us in the house can use the app. If my husband tries using it, it logs me out & he has to login and then he can use it. This whole app needs an overhaul
2 ★The app connected easily enough with Google assistant and Google home Google home but while it will let me turn the AC on and off it won't let me voice command the temperature itself anymore. I had no problems with the old Midea air app but now every time I try to change the temperature by voice command Through Google home and assistant it gives me an error. Overall I'm not happy with the change and I wish I could go back to the old app but I am unable to do so anymore.
1 ★The previous midea app let multiple phones log in at the same time, this one don't. The other app was better, this one had done some updates that make it close but not enough. Edit 2: In addition to not been able to have it in more than one device in a lot of time, now I can't select Mid fan speed with a new update, but could before and can select Mid in controller.
1 ★Absolute garbage. The old app worked just fine. This app will not connect my phone to the device. The new app crashes during setup. I have sent in several support requests with no answer and it has been several months. I had to make another Google account to connect my phone back to my device with the old app. Stick with the old app folks, don't migrate your account.
