1 ★I initially rated this game 3 stars, I give up. This game could be awesome but it constantly freezes, literally after force closing, exiting out the app, it does not matter it freezes then if you don't get your turns, points anything back. Once you answer a question it freezes. I've lost tournaments I should have won. Lost lives I should have and lost points I should still have. I tried to give it a chance because I really liked the potential of what it could be but I give up...I am uninstalling. FYI to the developer...THE UPDATE ONLY MADE IT WORSE. I don't see how it is possible in the technical age we live in that an app performance could be this horrible. And I rated game play 1 star also but it want change it for some reason.
2 ★Cannot rate above 3 stars because of all the bugs this app contains. Most of them stem from the numerous ads and their settings. The ads that force landscape orientation on my phone, as well as the split time ads where you click Next to proceed are SO aggravating constantly causing the app to freeze up. Very close to uninstalling until more stable. UPDATE: Dropping another star! Even more bugs and errors and developers don't seem to care. But hey, we got a Halloween theme. Gee thanks!
1 ★It is great except.... I have the sound turned off for a reason. Then ads come on that play sound regardless. Worse yet, they won't let you opt out until it finishes. No good when on the sh!tter at work! Uninstalled. I have notifications turned off and it still force notifies 10 times a day. Not for games I'm playing, for silly competitions I'm not interested in. Finally drove me over the edge. One star.
4 ★This is a very good game with only a few minor issues. The gameplay is very fun and the trivia questions are decently balanced between easy and difficult. However there are several often repeated questions and poor grammar in some of the questions. Also the system for suggesting questions is very bad. Almost all of the questions I suggest were rejected not because of grammar or because they were repeated, but because of "not enough likes." Also there are a lot of ads, but that is to be expected.
3 ★The game is good and addicting, but glitches often. It will often show me a question, go straight to the after question page without showing me the answers and ask if I want another chance. Then it will give me the same question, I'll get it right, and it will tell me that I needed to respond within 36 hours and now it's my opponents turn. Sometimes, this is minutes after my opponents turn ended. Happens on the paid version as well.
2 ★This used to be a 5 stars game to me. I recently started playing again only to find the amount of ads has become unbearable, we all understand the need to monetize on ads but when you spend more time watching and closing ads than actually playing the game it's a no go. There are also far too many "cheating" options now for those willing to pay, defeating the purpose of a trivia game. Very disappointing.
2 ★There are far too many ads in this game. Even when you get the option to watch an ad to get another chance, and you opt not to, you have to watch an ad. The game is good, but the ads kill it. Also, the question that you get to answer does not always reflect where your skin landed. I frequently got questions that are nowhere near the category that the wheel stopped on. Bad programming.
1 ★Many ads. Many reminders that you can watch ads. Some ridiculous questions... And God forbid you click on an ad. You'll run out of time. But... I'm still playing it. I can't deny it's satisfying to collect many lives and begin a long line of games. 💐 Edit : seems like they added even more unskippable video beer ads. Even I had to uninstall. Apologies to anyone I was in a game with, but I hope you can accept the free win.
1 ★I used to love this app. But now with the recent updates, this app freezes on me frequently. Sometimes, I'm lucky and it'll freeze after I've answered the question. But when it freezes mid-question, the timer in the background is still running, and thus it records that I get easy questions wrong. I'm writing this because the Geography Crown question froze, restarted app, watched the video for the Second Chance offer, and the video froze. Troubleshooting ruled out internet connection issues. There's no point in playing a game that wants me to lose every time.
1 ★Last update sucks! You don't get rewards for ads even if you watch it fully. They also automatically open app store without permission when you get to the end. Survival mode constantly gets fail error codes. And triviatopics and survival freeze and will start on 5 seconds or less. Triviatopics also cuts off questions so you dont even get the full question. Same for answers. If the answer is more than 4 words forget it. The only mode without problems so far is classic and triviathon.
2 ★It's not the same game from years ago. I get stopped after every single spin to watch a video to power up and it's annoying. I say no every single time but it still stops me. There are also ads at every turn and they're always long ones. I keep getting notifications like "Your pet wants to leave" and when I check, he's fed for another 14 hours. I also cant change my profile pic unless I sign up with Facebook. I got the football profile picture but I hate sports. We should be able to change it.
2 ★Trivia Crack is an ad revenue generator with questions in between. It goes through questionable UI design choices (buttons in the lower right like the pig make access to your 3rd card difficult if you have no active games). By far my biggest peeve is the wheel. It was changed from 2 attempts (2nd required ad) with possible loss to 1 attempt with ad and no losses. One problem: you can watch the ad and lose the spin anyway. This has happened to me 90% of the time I use the wheel.
