Met de Stop Heling app kunt u met serienummers van elk product controleren of het gestolen is of niet. De app zoekt uit of het product als gestolen geregistreerd staat in de database van de Nederlandse politie. Let wel: een product dat niet is geregistreerd kan alsnog gestolen zijn! Soms is er geen aangifte gedaan of is de aangifte nog niet verwerkt.De app kan kentekens en een groot deel van de serienummers automatisch inscannen. Tevens biedt de app de mogelijkheid om uw eigen spullen inclusief serienummer en foto op te slaan. Erg handig voor de verzekering of een eventuele aangifte.
Het is u dus aan te raden om eenmaal door uw huis heen te lopen en al uw eigendommen te registreren. Deze informatie blijft op uw toestel staan en wordt niet opgeslagen door de politie. Wel biedt de app de mogelijkheid om de lijst met uw eigendommen naar uw e-mailadres te sturen.
