5 ★Not perfect as the sound continues after closing the app: you must stop the sound before exiting. But it works nicely.
1 ★I really like the white noise in space, but this app only works if my phone screen is on. When I turn off the phone screen the app turns off also, and the app doesn't let the screen go to sleep. I don't want the phone screen to stay on the whole time I'm sleeping, even on the lowest brightness setting. This will burn my screen and the phone battery. That issue makes this app completely useless to me.
5 ★I think this is great! I wish I had a smart phone with this app on it years ago when I had to travel more often and had to sleep in hotel rooms and didn't have my fan to drown out all the little strange noises you hear in places like that. I love that you can change volumes of the different sounds that make up each track. I like the rainstorm one, but I didn't like the wind part that sounded like it was blowing open a screen door, so I silenced that part of it. I wish I could give it 6 stars 😁
5 ★Wonderful!! As a very light sleeper, my day started between 3 and 5am when the dementing lady upstairs got up. Now I wake around 7. I love the variety of sounds on this app and the fact that you can set it for several hours. Some of the water sounds are very loud and not soothing. My favourites are the wind through the cornfield, and the sea tide at the beach. Highly recommend this app if you want a good night's sleep. Each choices has 4 options that you can vary the sound levels of.
5 ★I have great difficulty sleeping (getting to sleep, staying asleep, and I also have pain issues that prevent a restful night's sleep) I have found that some of the sounds on this app are very useful in helping me to relax. I especially like the ocean waves and the rain...there are multiple choices for each selection so you must go through the different options and find what choice is best for you. Enjoy listening!!!!
5 ★I NEVER post reviews on apps & things but I was pleasantly surprised by the high quality of this app given its shareware (free). The sound quality, diversity of options to add wind, wave, music or tones to each selection is what makes this app stand apart from the others. The ads are not popup, which is a big + in my book. No glitches or issues with Samsung Note so far.
5 ★Easy to use. Good variety of sounds. Alot of user controls. I just wish I could play it in the background while listening to audio books on the same device. I'm updating my review because I found that I could play the sounds in the background while listening to audiobook. I just had to launch the whitenoise before Kindle, not after.
5 ★I have a roommate that blares his TV the entire night. It's always on no matter what. I prefer to sleep in silence but it never happens for me. so I tried a series of white noise apps. Most just played forests, beaches, and waterfalls. While those are relaxing they weren't for me. This app has one a sound that is similar to riding in a car. Rubber on asphalt. On a car trip I can fall asleep in 20 mins after we started just from the sound. If you're like me and enjoy that then this is perfect.
5 ★I love this app! I used to try to use relaxing pandora stations and the commercial were so disruptive. With this app, no commercial, just continuous relaxation. I also love the timer and how the sounds fade when times up. No loud alarm. I fall asleep within 15 minutes everytime of having it on. I also enjoy how many different options there are.

Anyway, I use the white noise (brown one) for sleeping and it's perfect, peaceful, stays on for the entire duration of my sleep. very happy! thanks :)
5 ★This is the most amazing app for white noise/background sounds. The variety offered is second to none, and the options available within the app to layer sounds on top of one another is fabulous. Timer is available. Favourites can be marked. I use it layered with a separate meditate app and its AWESOME. Well done.
1 ★I have used it for months, and it runs all night. Each sound layer should be separate. I uninstalled due to increasing ads and new "Do you really want to exit the application" confirmation. They say it's to avoid accidentally pressing the exit button, but would that happen, when the user is asleep? Edit: I dropped to 1 star, stop telling everyone it's their fault for YOUR programming errors. I told you the birdsong audio is included in many rainfall options, you don't even know your own app.
