Aceasta inventie a fost realizata in cadrul unui contract de cercetare incheiat intre unitatea de invătamant superior din Timisoara si Ministerul Telecomunicatiilor.
In prezent, “ceasul vorbitor” beneficiaza de folosirea semnalului furnizat de satelitii GPS catre serverele NTP (Network Time Protocol), generand secventele vocale corespunzatoare pe iesirile audio ale unor calculatoare.
