The MEcontrol App enables the wearer to personalize the Miracle-Ear GENIUS 3.0 hearing aids with the following functions when configured by a Hearing Care Specialist:

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.
Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?
A: Yes, absolutely. 5 ★This app is great! Also, love my new hearing aids. No need now to carry a separate controller, I can check if I need to change the batteries, adjust the volume, switch between Universal and TV, and adjust bass and treble. Very convenient as my phone is always near.
2 ★hard to find options - volume control doesnt seem to do anything. only universal allows modifications. Also, slow to load and wont work in noisy environments.
4 ★Works at times.Not sure why it keeps shutting off.Aids have decent battery as my LG G6 cell does.No issues with BT with any other device. Maybe the new app coming out will be better. Do like the battery usage but seems flaky at times, shows battery very low then almost full charge.Not a deal breaker..... Update: App shuts off for no reason but i will come back depending how you exit out of the app from your phone.
3 ★For those questioning the conversation and sound settings. Do not back out of the program it clears it out of the memory it will not keep your last setting. you just hit the home button and go straight back to your main screen on your phone do not back out. This is for the universal theater conversation restaurant etc. I'll give it 5 Stars when I can stream music needs to have music needs to have music
4 ★Moved to Galaxy A10e. Battery checker works. Can now turn on Bluetooth.. Can now turn on sound exposure and motion sensor. Speech Navigator could use a right or left side control. Volume control could use a mute 🔕 and raise volume more. Listening situations now all work. Only collects one day of data. Hearing aids work fine, the app works much better. I believe part of the problem was Android's Bluetooth, which Samsung upgraded.

1 ★SLOW APP FOR ANDROID PHONES very very difficult to find help online. I am a hear usa customer for many years and finally felt I must complain about this app
2 ★constant loss of bluetooth connection therefore significant loss of data in daily wearing logs. May 30 I wear the aids every day yet the logs show either no hours or some hours never all the hours.. the bluetooth issue must be resolved. I am getting slowly to the stage where I will dump the app as it serves no purpose.
5 ★This hearing aid system has been great! I can control numerous aspects of its function via my phone. I can listen to music or take a phone call without a headset—plays right through the hearing aids. (Note: Android phones like mine require a small additional device, iPhones do not.)

4 ★Mostly useful, but after phone goes to sleep and wakes up the app needs to be closed and reopened to link to the aids. It also seems to randomly switch between aids and bluetooth clip which causes a change in background noise which is a minor annoyance. It is handy for adjusting the aids to the surroundings
