Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

5 ★Working great, great program with great rewards for doing something you should in the first place.
1 ★At first seemed accurate with how I normally drive. However, 90% of my driving is city and near several colleges. Pedestrians, cell phone wearers, jaywalking, tailgating, firetrucks, and especially bicycles weaving through traffic, multiple construction areas (with their assorted trucks and equipment) make many roads obstacle courses. Getting "dinged" for quick stops (not hard breaking), swerving to avoid hitting a person or car, fast acceleration to avoid emergency vehicles is normal driving!
3 ★Not to bad, although I think the hard braking is a bit touchy. Still, it's basically earning points for free
4 ★Something of a battery hog but works ok for stated purpose. App requires phone to be in center console of car for proper use - otherwise too sensitive to turns. I'm not willing to change a twenty year habit of carrying the phone in a pants pocket just for this app so out it goes.
1 ★Don't bother with this app. Got great scores for not speeding or hard braking/cornering but because I drive mostly on bumpy twisty roads I scored very poorly for FALSE readings of phone use/distraction because my phone charges while I drive. There was no phone use! Didn't even open Waze because of other reviews stating the app reads nav programs as distractions. I don't want bogus readings of my driving to eventually negatively affect my insurance premiums, so I dumped this crappy app.
1 ★The gift cards are nice but the app cannot tell the difference between hard braking for safety and hard braking because you are tailgating. Lost points for distracted driving when i was parked in a parking lot. Lost points for taking a legal u-turn at 15mph.
2 ★App constantly running in the background. Battery would overheat. Had to uninstall. Not worth the perks if it damages phone/battery.
1 ★Rigged speeding. They will take a street you drive every day and lower the speed limit by 10mph to slow you from earning points. It is intentional and they do nothing to fix it.
1 ★No privacy! It's also killing the battery very quickly because it's always using the GPS. I just wanted to try but it was a big mistake, I took back all permissions and deleting the app now..
4 ★I like the app it's good the only thing I don't like is that I'm constantly getting phone distractions. Either you're not allowed to use your Bluetooth and be hands-free or this app is not picking up on my Bluetooth
1 ★Fail. It asks me if I'm a new user (I am) and says I need to put in my email address so I can get an activation code to set up a new account. But it won't take my email address without an activation code. Unhelpfully, the link for "how do I get an activation code?" isn't working. Perhaps I should find a new insurer.
4 ★I'm not absolutely sure how this app works, but I hardly drive my car at all. I probably haven't put 1,000 miles on it in the past year. Until I understand it better, I think I'm going to delete the app, or at the very least, not activate it yet. From what I've read, it always assumes you're driving and you can't tell it otherwise. I don't want my driving record to be based on someone else's driving habits. I'd like very much for a developer to respond and confirm or deny this please.
