A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.
Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?
A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading). As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.
Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?
A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.
Q: What are Android App permissions?
A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

5 ★Great library of NHK drama, comedy and kids shows. Classic movies as well. Great quality video. An NHK drama fans dream.
1 ★app keeps closing. worked for a couple weeks and now doesnt work on any device we try to use it on
1 ★terrible app. need update
1 ★Terrible!!
1 ★I am mainly given this a 1 star because Apps that do video content really need to support AndroidTV or at a minimum support chromecasting. This application does neither. for 10 dollars a month you should provide means to watch the content on a TV. Adding more to this. I was just forced to add cable to my house in addition to Dish because Dish and JapanTV split. I really don't care whose fault it is but it has impacted me. My Grandmother that use both got a huge neck pain from watching this on her tablet. When you build a Video App, why would you not think you need to have a Android and Google TV version of this app and expect everyone to watch it on their phone or tablet. Either drop the services or create something that give you mobility but allows you to watch it on your 50"+ instead of your dinky tablet. And to person that mentioned bringing JapanTV streaming options in the US. YES. That could be another Android/IOS/Roku App.. $25 per month.... No brainer. Hell bundle with this library and share the development costs. Golden opportunity.. And i have to say.. I am one customer that is not very happy with the current offerings.
3 ★Would be a great idea -- I pay $25 extra on my cable bill every month for TV Japan, and a Netflix-like streaming service (even if it's only streaming and not downloadable) would save me $15 a month. Maybe more, since I also pay my cable company for DVR and wouldn't need that anymore. Sadly, the selection is extremely limited. I counted 18 titles (some of them being series). The "Coming Soon" list didn't give a lot of hope that the volume of selection would be increasing drastically any time soon. The chances are very good that I cancel in the first week. The selection would have to increase to at least 100 titles before I'd consider this worth it.
1 ★Does not provide what shows are available until after you have signed up. Very limited selection of old shows and movies freely available out there. I am more than happy and willing to pay the $10 monthly fee if there are more than 5-10 titles available even if they are dated. Cancelled after second day of the one week free trial. Why force people to pay for cable before having TV Japan as an option? Please provide TV Japan as a service online.
2 ★App is very heavy and slow. Also not much to choose from.I hope it gets better soon...
3 ★I actually subscribe to TV Japan already, but downloaded this app hoping to have a whole library of back episodes of shows I already enjoy, and maybe some not currently offered...instead, was so, so disappointed at the lack of choices. As I already get the channel, the only way I'd reinstall is if they had more programming and included its content free for current TV Japan subscribers. It's not currently worth it to me, but it could be a great thing in the future if they take these reviews and suggestions to heart.
3 ★Heavy, heavy advertising on TV Japan. You need to create an account and subscribe to a $10/month service on a separate website (what year is this, 2008?), but the first week is free. Unfortunately, the entire library was NHK dramas from last year and before (Asadoras and Taiga dramas), maybe one repetitive Asahi drama, one TBS variety show (albeit a good one), and a handful of Tsuri Baka movies. No anime, no documentaries, no news, no E-TV shows. Basically a bunch of shows we've already seen over a year ago, and don't think are epic enough to rewatch. So I cancelled during the free week. I realize that negotiating this sort of licensing is Hard, but I'd hoped for an alternative to the pricier TV Japan. I guess if you want to rewatch Sanadamaru or Asa ga Kita if that's your thing, go for it, but understand that you'll be at least a year behind.
