Description

Espresso from The Economist is the faster, smarter way to know the news. Power through the world’s top stories in the time it takes to have a cup of coffee, with incisive analysis updated throughout the day.

The Espresso app is now free for students aged 16 and over. Students can sign up without providing payment details. Verification of student status will happen automatically by checking that a student’s email address is from an educational institution.

Here is what people say about Espresso:

Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

User's Reivew

5 ★I've been a reader of The Economist for over a decade, and the reading gets better with each passing year. Among the things I appreciate about the publication: the effort that goes into the research for every article, the breadth and quality of the analysis; and the painstaking work that goes into the editing of all of their pieces ( as evinced by the readability and beauty of the published materials).
1 ★You are subscribed for life it seems. Legally questionable sales practices.
4 ★Subscription doesn't reflect in the app, even after lining up the payment process and logging it's asking for subscribing again and again. This is resolved later to 3-4 hrs after getting the email notification.
5 ★it's a really great app for catching up on the daily news updates. it's an even better option of you are a student and can take advantage of the free premium tier.
5 ★The highlighting bug is back. Please fix it.

5 ★Clean interface.
