Often the app will catch the download links from the browser but when it doesn't, just copy the file* link from the browser and paste in the editbox which appears after clicking '+' button and follow the further instructions given in app.

You can remove files* from the list by long pressing the file and then clicking delete button from Menu. Selecting "Remove Target File" deletes the downloaded data.
