Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

User's Reivew

1 ★Will not accept password on galaxy note 4 works fine on galaxy tab 4
1 ★Useless. Could not get login screen. Deleting.
5 ★Newspaper
1 ★Pro tip for anyone who wants to read all the articles online: view their website using incognito mode on your phone's browser. No max articles, full site usage. If it's that easy to get around the limitations of your website, why prevent your app from letting the rest of us view all of your articles? A paid app with more premium features would be better than merely having all the articles unlocked.
1 ★Keeps telling me to log in for every section I look at then takes me back to the main page. I can't get to nation news, ask St. Cloud Times or anything. It would also be nice if it kept you logged in instead of logging in every time you use the app. Definately does not live up to all the prelaunch hype. 1 month past my original post and all the issues remain. No response to e- mails about it. I guess as long as the app half way does what it is suppose to do it is good enough for the St. Cloud Times.
3 ★Why is there a 7day trial ? The app should be free, even with an add I would endure.
1 ★Would pay for the app ONCE but not subscribe to have access to it or the website which should be free.
5 ★Great app for local news on the go
1 ★First they raise the rates on the Sunday paper to $3 (which is more than the Star Tribune), then they limit access to their website and this app to pay subscribers only. No thanks. Uninstalled. I'm sure it's a great app if you ARE a subscriber, though.
2 ★So sad. App is free then you try to see anything and must get a full subscription. Couldnt you just pay for the app and be done?
5 ★Great way for me to catch up on news while on the go.
5 ★Love the news ;)
