Description
Aplikace umožňuje účast na experimentální geolokační hře Stratocaching, která vznikla na základě unikátního nápadu českého občanského sdružení Žádná věda. Do stratosféry je vypuštěn meteorologický balón s tzv. Dropionem (speciální gondolou), který nese Stratocache, 12 létajících kapslí ve tvaru velkého javorového semínka. V nejvyšší fázi letu se Stratocache uvolní a letí k zemi nezávisle. Po dopadu nahlásí svou polohu účastníkům hry, jejichž úkolem je stratokešky rozptýlené v krajině co nejrychleji vyhledat. Projekt Stratocaching není pouhou hrou – je to „experiment na dotek vesmíru“, který vzhledem k vyspělým technologiím a zapojeným expertům v mnoha oborech představuje originální způsob popularizace vědy.Aplikace Stratocaching je jediným způsobem, jak se do hry aktivně zapojit, a to hlavně přímo v terénu při hledání „semínek ze stratosféry“:
- umožňuje nahlásit nález pořadatelům, a to s pomocí načtení specifického QR kódu na každé Stratocache a odeslání fotografie z místa
- nabízí jednoduchý a intuitivní přehled o poloze Stratocache a Dropionu v průběhu hry, s možností volby navigace k vybranému cíli
- informuje o aktualitách – vědecko-populárních článcích, doprovodných soutěžích a dalších zajímavostech kolem projektu
- v průběhu hry zprostředkovává přímý přenos videa z balónu a online reportáž
