En keensoft hemos querido probar el nuevo sdk, que ademas introduce todo lo necesario para desarrollar wearables y la futura google tv, de la cual tendremos noticias aproximadamente, por ello hemos publicado una aplicación en el market para poder visualizar los nuevos elementos.No hemos de olvidar que muchos dispositivos no van a ser capaces de ser actualizados por ello debemos hacer compatibles las aplicaciones con los modelos que sigan utilizando Android 4.x.
Para implementar las nuevas funciones y hacerlas compatibles para android 4 y 5 necesitaremos incluir la siguiente dependencia:
'com.android.support:appcompatv7:21.0.+'
Esta dependencia nos proporciona el soporte para hacer las aplicaciones compatibles.
En el código fuente de la aplicación veremos ejemplos para la generación del nuevo menú, el DrawerLayout. Una implementación retrocompatible del nuevo botón flotante “fab”, y un ejemplo de transiciones de android 5, las cuales sólo se pueden ver en dispositivos con la ultima actualización del sistema, ya que en versiones anteriores no se pueden visualizar. Todo ello desarrollado con gradle y la última versión de Android Studio.
