A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.
Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?
A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading). As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.
Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?
A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.
Q: What are Android App permissions?
A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

1 ★Only 28 points per miles. Waste of time. Annoying how you have to keep pressing start and then if you stop walking for a few minutes it stops and you have to mess around with your phone again to start it again. Many times you forge to start it t and lose many steps. I'm sorry I don't understand what you mean by this response either. The app is not working. I have no idea what is wrong. App is useless imo. My phone settings are set to default and cause no problem with apps. Your app just broke.
3 ★Been using the app for a few months. It's not bad, and I've been gaining points steadily with my commutes so it's functioning well enough there. The biggest issue is the sheer amount of push notifications you get with seemingly no option to control them in the app. Having turned them off via my phone's settings, I now can't amend journeys longer than a couple of hours old so am losing points if I don't select the mode of travel promptly. After an update or two this app will be great.
1 ★Nice idea but the app really is bad. Automatic tracking is terrible: when getting a train it records the first few minutes as cycle then switches to train. Support says I can correct afterwards, but then I don't get points on any of the segments where I do when it tracks correctly as a single ride. Trips have to start within tiny zones to get points, and it often just misses them as it's so unreliable. Lately, I can't open the reward screen at all so can't use any of my points. It's a nightmare!
2 ★Beside the fact that there are virtually no rewards because you have to enter a draw to win a reward, so it's pretty impossible, at the moment the number of tickets awarded for the activities seems completely random. You should get tickets based on the duration of your activity, 30 minutes =30 tickets. Those are not being awarded now. Is it a bug? Instead for an hour/3 miles walk I got 4 tickets "summer stroll", seriously? Based on what? For other walks 0. For riding, only "bike week" tickets.
3 ★Nice incentive - but unreliable I've already given up using the Automatic tracking because it basically doesn't work. So up until the start of December my bike rides were tracking OK on Manual - especially my regular 5 mile commute into work. Now those rides - along my normal route are either jumping in a straight line and I'm losing distance (to get my next medal) or the track is just stopping 1/2 mile from home and I record a really short ride.....I have contacted the help team and they just repeat the "check your GPS" message ...but for me nothing is different on my phone setup since it was working fine. So nice app but the support is lacking - I'm still waiting for a response from a help message 2 days ago.
2 ★Been using this for two months and not got a single reward point, only tickets for the weekly raffle to win a £5 prize. For me it's not worth the bother of tracking a walk manually or validating the automatic tracking records every day. My Fitbit does that for me. Maybe if you live in an area that does offer reward points it's worth it, but not for me.
3 ★It used to be great when you earned betterpoints for activities. The app has now moved onto a system of tickets for draws. I'm pretty active and have the autotracking on permanantly, so have earnt lots of tickets - but none of these have converted into betterpoints in the last 6 months of use. Before this change I would have given the app and system 5 stars.
4 ★This app has been great for me. I walk at least 5 miles, so have earned plenty of Better points/tickets for just going about my normal routine, easily get the max. 200 points a day. it's makes me more active at weekends too. I like the extra points for sharing to Twitter. Unfortunately we don't earn the extra 500 points a week anymore & everytime I want to cash in, they have run out of £10 John Lewis vouchers, they come in eventually, but have had to wait about 3 weeks. but overall a good app.
1 ★Just been for a 3 mile walk and better points didn't count a single step even though I've got auto tracking turned on yet other apps I have installed counted just under 6000
4 ★Used to work fine, but since I upgraded my version of Android it continually quits and stops tracking on both automatic and regular mode. Went on a walking holiday and an other app tracked 95km of walking in the week, Betterpoints didn't manage 150 minutes in a week. UPDATE: since developer help reached out, i've been able to change my huawei phone power settings introduced by the android pie update and the app is working as it should.
1 ★Great idea but only being able to enter a prize draw is rubbish. I knew this might be the case from the reviews but unfortunately you have to sign up to find out what "programmes" are available. You should list what areas are able to join more than just the national programme. I wanted to use my activity to donate to charity but Im not having this app on my phone for a chance to donate. Uninstalled
5 ★The Betterpoints app has inspired me to think twice before jumping in the car for those shorter journeys and instead to travel by bike, or to walk. Betterpoints helps me to stay healthy, to keep physically fit and to do my bit to protect our environment. Regular challenges offer the incentive to work a little harder to achieve goals and gain reward points which can be traded for shopping vouchers or donated to good causes. Betterpoints has improved both my mental & physical wellbeing. Try it!
