2 ★DO NOT use the access code printed in the magazine with the Google Play dialog. Instead, download the preview, all 98 Mb, open it, and page in 3 or 4 pages at which point an Economist specific dialog box will appear asking you to enter the code from the magazine. Once that's happened, DO NOT hit the reset button. Instead, navigate using your Android device buttons and re-enter the now authorized APP. I would never have occurred to me that the redemption dialog was inside the APP. Like everyone else I thought the Google dialog would be one and one. Not.
4 ★Purchasing the 2015 publication was easy but found formatting a little wonky in places: abbreviations are not capitalised and the whole article on Italy ("The plan for Italy") lacks formatting. Minor issues through, this was a great read over the Christmas break.
2 ★I have no idea where my voucher code is. Shouldn't there be a link included in the email so I can find my voucher code online? The whole process is far too confusing. I will change my review if I can figure out how to actually access this.

2 ★The "combo" print and digital (apps and audio) is spot on the sweet spot. Suggest add another option, incl cost, for the TWI to annual subs. Prefer that it is bundled rather than bought separately. Can't see if the TWI app has audio - my preferred media
1 ★Great disappointment - as longstanding reader and subscriber of The Economist - in discovering that there are NO FREE sample contents to read! The Andoid app ask for £5.99 to grant access to TWI 2014! I'll uninstall immediately as it is of no use whatsoever! :-(
1 ★Uninstalling as despite the description of the app as "free" if you want to read it you have to pay £5.99. This is a complete con in my opinion. They should have been upfront about the cost in their marketing. All they have succeeded in doing is annoying me now.
2 ★2 stars for the contents. But there are loads of defects about the app itself. For example, the audio files are played in an in-app webpage, which means you can't read the text while listening to the recording. On top of that, at least 2 articles are matched wrong audios that belong to others (I suppose this one is easy to fix). :-\
