5 ★This app is sweet!!!!!! You want to turn the tool off. You open the app from your phone. And. If your in range of the bluetooth. You simply press disable. And. Boom!!!! Tool will not work. Unless you turn it on.

1 ★Just keeps saying authentication failed not even got to use the app. Tried forgotten password etc and reset it and still says the same.

5 ★This app is one of the eaisiest apps ive ever used. The instructions were so easy that I kept re-reading them because I thought I wad missing something. I love the tool trackers because they work great. I not only use them for tools but I hide them in my gun cases and other valuables.

5 ★A very handy app to have. I really like the "Last Seen" feature. It will show you on a map where your device was last used. So far we just have the Area Light that has the Tool Connect feature, but look forward to adding more tools that are compatible.

1 ★Waste of time and money, spent extra for batterys with tool connect but after 1st pairing it just will NOT re-pair. The extra I spent could have bought me another tool. If your thinking of buying Dewalt with Bluetooth don't bother just buy the standard stuff and treat yourself to a couple of spare battery's instead. Very VERY disappointed. Two years later and still can't connect.

1 ★So far, so good! Currently tracking the DCL074 LED All-Purpose Light. update: 3Aug2019 Although the app is great, I like the Milwaukee OneKey better. Update 13 Aug 2019 Changed out battery on my light and when I tried to re sync I couldn't connect. less than 4ft away. it also deleted all my saved schedules. this app keeps SUCKING more and more by the day.

2 ★Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. It will often say out of range when you're 2 feet away.

1 ★Please dont use! It will lock your tool up and not work, support is no help, I have 4 hrs and three emails and no one has a clue. Or is even helpful at all. No GPS so you cant even find the tool if it's not in bluetooth range. Sending my drill back and getting a Milwaukee.

1 ★bought 4 batteries and 3 went missing and tracking just shows last seen still on the charger but I have searched my shop everywhere and no sight of them. the 1 battery I have left I'm looking at it on the charger and the app tells me it's no where around me and will not let me connect to it so now im 4 batteries out. about to sell all my dewalt tools and swap to Milwaukee

4 ★So far so good. Great option to have for your hand tools and power tools, and their batteries. App has decent features, functional and impressive. Pretty cool, technology meets expensive power tools. Track your investment. Check tool diagnostics and adjust settings. Its what i would expext from DeWalt

5 ★just convenient I hung the light up in the work area and I'm able to turn it on and turn it off without getting up on a ladder and it lights up the area perfectlysafely eventually you do have to change the battery but for the amount of run time not too big on the worried board lights up long enough we need it and we're good to go!!
