Stream music, videos, movies and pictures from PC, NAS or any other device running UPnP/DLNA compliant media server. MediaHouse powers your device i.e. phone, tablets or google TVs with the following capabilities:

1. Automatic scan of your home network over Ethernet or Wifi to identify PC, NAS or any other device running UPnP/DLNA media server.
2. Shows capabilities of the scanned servers by dividing them into two categories, one from which you can serve content i.e. called Play From and others to which you can play that content i.e. called Play To.
3. Use MediaHouse as a browser, player or controller.
4. MediaHouse can control playback of content from a Media Server (called - Play From) to a Media renderer (called - Play To).
5. Favorites - Save albums and folders from multiple media servers while browsing
6. Play lists - add, delete, rename music play lists. Last played audio tracks are automatically saved.

Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

User's Reivew

1 ★crashes on start
4 ★I have been testing UPnP/DLNA apps for a few weeks. The ease of use and set up with my ReadyNas, Galaxy Tab S 10.5 and my Series 6 Samsung TV has put Media House at the top of my list. This one is a keeper. Loved the fact that it found my MP3 playlists and played them perfect. I also liked the fact that it streamed all our Raw Cannon HD MTS videos from the ReadyNas without a problem. Very quick buffering between clips.
1 ★I can't explain why, but I can say it does it. I have reproduced this over a dozen times. When you I first launch the app, every wireless device on my network suddenly goes to "No internet access" mode for about a minute. Not just sometimes, but EVERY time you launch the app, and it does it with all my Android devices (2 phones and a tablet). On top of that, it also doesn't detect my XBMC system. My XBMC server works fine with the XBMC Android & IOS Remote app, and the UPNP streaming flawlessly on my iPad (sadly) with 8Player. If only I could find something for Android that works as well...
5 ★Works perfectly. The only issues I have had were not the fault of the app, but due to the limitations of the network or the server. Even though the free version does everything I need, I bought the pro version as a thank you to the developer. I have a dual boot Linux/Windows box. Works like a charm with Linux running miniDLNA. What a wonderful app! Very impressed. I have a rather large video library and a moderately sized music library. This app handles all just perfectly!!!
3 ★This reads my nas and streams to windows media player. Which is good. But I want something that tells controls an app on my pc so I can do other stuff with my android device after I have selected what I want to play. Good stop gap though. Seems to be geared towards music I cannot seem to browse my folders so that I can tell the app to look for videos any help with this would be greatly appreciated.
3 ★It has a better UI than bubble but all the time it is running it seems to crash the home network. As soon as I kill the app everything is back up and running again. Using a Dlink DIR 880l, so more than enough network power.
4 ★This does exactly what I want it to. Way less frustrating than streaming to my Ps3 or to my laptop. One complaint: the back button should go up a folder, not back to the main menu. This is unintuitive and annoying enough to knock it down from 5 stars to 4.
5 ★There are some MINOR glitches with folder recognition but this app PLAYS THE HELL out of my music from my music server! Plays videos too but thats subject to my networks health/speed. The app gives you the option to download the file to your device thus eliminating buffering. Overall this is the BEST network player out there!
5 ★Very good. Music.. long press folder.. options then come up to random play whole folder or other. Features in abundance. Plays music in background. Movies on nas, long or short play great. Can slide show pics. Would like to zoom in on pics. Fantastic. Great work. Is Tablet friendly!!! Oh yes, can create play lists too.
4 ★I got this because I wanted to stream to the old gingerbread HTC that I let my 3 year old use. I've only had it one day so I haven't had a chance to really put it through its paces yet but I will say that it synced right up to plex on the pc with no problems. It's working great with Mx player on the old phone.
1 ★Another failed and misleading app. Does not allow you to stream music TO devices, only FROM devices. Why would I want to stream movies or music from a larger screen with better speakers to a tiny handheld device? Totally backwards and useless
1 ★Not really free. It is bait and switch. The app limits to 2 searches. Never made it to play a tune. Avia is the best by far. Too bad. A lot of programming but never yielded the expect result. Might work for you.
