DS audio allows you to stream music stored on your DiskStation with your Android device wherever an Internet connection is available. Better yet, with the offline mode you can listen to songs stored in the device’s local memory for when no network connection is available. You can browse music by albums, artists, folders or genres, create your own playlists or share them with your friends, and even rate your music! And if you have dedicated stereo speakers at home, DS audio can also become a remote control to stream music to them.

3 ★dark mode and resolution song detail is missing

4 ★It works fine, I do have an extensive music library, finding music with the search function works fine. The shoutcast implementation is OK but it seems that a lot of online audio sources are unavailable (police scanner, Air traffic control, emergency services...) Playlists are easily manageable. requests: - when double tapping a track, it should start playing immediately - dark mode should be available, not only to save power, but it would also look better

1 ★log-in fails, and there is no help to know what's wrong

2 ★Works ok especially when using Tailscale for external connection. But the app seriously needs full dark mode. Why are your developers so ignorant?

2 ★Incredibly Slow (unresponsive) I'm running against Medi Station on a Synology NAS. Even ith a Gigabit upload to the internet the app is so incredibly Slow at times unresponsive. It's exactly what I wanted/needed to stream my own music to my phone, but it is just awful.

3 ★I'm a bit disappointed with this app. When playing songs I've downloaded via the app all works fine but if I stream songs from the NAS they have a hiccup or stutter every 30 seconds or so. It makes it unusable unless I download the songs first. My phone is a Pixel 8. I've tried reinstalling the app. Also it's the same whether I stream over Wi-fi or 4G. Otherwise it good to have my complete music collection with me everywhere

3 ★No longer an option on Android auto.

2 ★It no longer able to cast and play audio to Google nest mini and nest hub. When cast to such devices, the song cannot be played. It just skip to the next track. None of the song can be played. It just go to next song in the queue.

2 ★This app is very much in need of an overhaul as it barely gets the job done. We need to be able to download an album from search results and not just album list. Meanwhile the app often fails to download the entire album, and later deleting a downloaded album requires deleting it track by track. Also, it would be helpful to browse by directory like in DS File.
