Along with many new features, the graphics and user interface have been completely overhauled.Control the basic functions of your Marantz product with power, volume, input and settings.
With a new landscape orientation control screen for tablet devices you can easily browse and navigate through your network music services or personal digital music collection with ease; and at the same time view now playing information and cover art all on a single screen.
Our new playback system allows you to easily build your own personal music playlists on the fly with the ability to Drag & Drop files into your queue, or tap to “Play Now”, “Play Next”, “Play Next and Replace Queue” or “Add to End of Queue”. You can then save your queue as a playlist for easy recall.

1 ★Frequently hangs. Very poor quality. Not what we expect from Marantz (as someone using their receivers from mid 1970's)
1 ★Sowohl die App als auch das Marantz Gerät CR611 haben ständig Abbrüche. Updates erfolgen in sehr großen Abständen, haben aber die Probleme eher verschlimmbessert.
1 ★It is not very stable and keeps crashing. Title text in play screen mode does not scroll so with internet radio playback you never see total track name. Basically completely disappointing for the major name as Marantz is and the great quality hardware they have. 1 star is too much. Worst app ever ... Just switched to "Remote App" for Marantz which seems to be working well for my NA-11S1. Removed this one permanently.
1 ★Buggy. Constantly hangs or is unresponsive. My M-CR610 hangs after playing one song, have to unplug it to sort it out only for it to hang again after another song. Poor app and poor hardware. Not what I'd expect from the Marantz brand ☹️

2 ★M-CR611 is a briljant receiver (apart from the Vtuner dependancy and unreliable CD hardware). But this App does not work at all.. Best alternative at this moment: Denon Remote App. Same factory and software framework. Marantz please copy, rebrand and remove the non-Denon error message.
4 ★Works fine on my M-CR611 which is connected by ethernet cable. Basic app, but it's good enough for me. 2023 Update: Still works well on Android 12! You just have to disable your VPN.
