5 ★Excellent app. Rated 1 to 10, I would give it a 12. So easy to use, have never known it to fail. Have gotten the right book each time; and easy and fast . . .so very fast. I wrote this review some time ago, happy to tell you nothing has changed; it is the easiest method out there to transfer books. Totally uncomplicated. If I were an author (Gosh, I can only dream!!), I would never use any other method in a promotion.
4 ★Update: The latest update of the app fixed my issue! Thank you for your fast work on resolving our issues! I really like the new update of the app. But, on my samsung s9 phone and my android tablet you aren't able to change the font size. When reading in the library from the cloud it just freezes when you try to change the text size. Thia feature works fine on my two amazon fire tablets. Can this be looked into? Thank you
1 ★When I try to open the app, it will only take me to the page where you enter a book code, I cannot access the 'home page', there is no 'help' button for me to go to, nothing, just 'enter your code', and hitting the back button on my phone just exits me from the app.. I'm trying to upload some books to Google Play books, and I can't! Help me!?!?
1 ★Please fix this or create a new better one... It worked great but now it doesn't work anywhere near as well as it did. I wrote the company and they basically blew me off like it wasn't important that they fix their app. Can I work around it? It's annoying and extra steps, but yes. HOWEVER it was the fantastic ease and convience of how this app brought up books and saved where I was that made it great when I first started using it.
2 ★Used to be great, now not so much! This used to be a seamless app that worked in conjunction with email and other apps. Just use the link, go back to what you were doing. Since the latest update, I can't even close it without closing everything else. The back button doesn't work it just sits there. And I have to instruct it to put my book in my kindle, instead of it automatically doing it as it used to. Crazy! Please go back to previous version! It was awesome, and I'll give it 5 stars again!!
5 ★Works very well! I downloaded this to read books on my Kindle app, books I'm getting through a non-Amazon book club. At first the books didn't show up in Kindle, but I followed BookFunnel's very clear suggestions, and all has worked well. I've had trouble with one book, but BookFunnel's customer service has been quick and helpful, and the problem resolved. I highly recommend this app!
3 ★I have being using this app for several years and loved it, but something has happened and now the app no longer works properly. I even uninstalled it and re-downloaded it to no avail. The developer needs to update and correct the app or they will be losing both app users and authors who use this medium to get books to their customers. ***Update to previous review. The new updated version just came out and it works well. It is not quite as easy to load books as the original, but it's okay.
3 ★At first I couldn't get to or access to the book and gave up. Later with a second book and after several emails to the bookfunnel help, I eventually managed to get the books onto my kindle fire. Although bookfunnel say you can add the books to the kindle library, Amazon say you cannot. Although you can store them locally. Or on the bookfunnell app library. The app is very difficult but for a free book worth the trouble. Maybe a different story if I had to pay! ??
3 ★This used to be my favourite book app until recently (like 6 months ago July 2019). I would have rated it 5 ⭐, but everytime I get a book I now need help. Its driving me insane. Especially when it's coming free from the Author when you are part of their ARC Team. So now its 3 ⭐, but I'd be happy 2 amend once it's back 2 normal.
1 ★you usually can't get to your list of books but it does exist, I've been there. Opening the app takes you straight to the download code page. I try to reset my password but it says I have the wrong email, the same one it just accepted. I can't find any access to customer service. There are lists of books available for free but getting there is next to impossible. If I have a link it usually works but frequently not. The app sucks for the reader. There is lots of support for writers
5 ★I used to have a lot of issues with this app - it wouldn't download my books until I tried several times / changed the platform I was downloading to or it would have an error and close. However, the most recent app update was amazing! I LOVE the changes they've implemented. No issues and now all my books are in one spot and not all over in whatever method would actually download. Great job!
1 ★I used to like the old version of Book Funnel...before it was so easy to use, download, click back to go look at more books to download..with the "update" I have to shut my phone off in order to go back to the other books...I HATE THE UPDATE!!! I know I will no longer be using Book Funnel to get any books...sad to say, because the old app was totally awesome!!
