Ogni anno alla fine di ottobre si svolge la celebre Fiera della Castagna a Melezzole, castello del XII secolo con una struttura tipicamente medievale, situato sui Monti Amerini, nel comune di Montecchio. Quest'anno si è giunti allla XXIX edizione.Le vie della frazione si riempiono di profumi tipicamente autunnali delle caldarroste e del vino; la degustazione dei “marroni” è, come sempre, il fiore all'occhiello della Fiera, ma non mancano degustazioni di prodotti tipici locali come funghi, miele, salumi ed tanto altro.
La Fiera è l'occasione per ammirare la creatività dei bambini delle scuole materne ed elementari dei circondario, grazie a La Castagna d'Argento, concorso che ogni anno raccoglie un ampio numero di bambini degli istituti partecipanti.
Inoltre, sapienti e abili artigiani mettono in mostra le loro abilità manuali per le vie del centro storico: canestrai, calzolai, falegnami, mostrano come realizzare prodotti di qualità seguendo i dettami della tradizione.
