“Die Techniker” provides its customers with a digital all-purpose tool. For example, you can use this app to upload your receipts for reimbursement, view existing sick notes, or do something for your fitness while collecting bonus points.FEATURES

SECURITY
As a statutory health insurance company, we are committed to the best possible protection of your health data. That's why we check your identity when setting up TK-App on your smartphone. You can either identify yourself online using your ID card and PIN via the Nect Wallet app or by entering an activation code. We‘ll send you the activation code via post.

How to install TK-App APK on Android phone or tablet?
Download TK-App APK file from ApkClean, then follow these steps:
Update Phone Settings
- Go to your phone Settings page
- Tap Security or Applications (varies with device)
- Check the Unknown Sources box
- Confirm with OK
Go to Downloads
- Open Downloads on your device by going to My Files or Files

Q: What is an APK File?
A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.
Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?
A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

2 ★I do like the idea of this app, but so far I feel discriminated as a Suunto tracker user. Because the TK app doesn't communicate with Suunto app, I have no way to transfer my steps (Google Fit also doesn't take steps from Suunto app). It would be great if IT could support Suunto as it is pretty common good brand of fitness trackers (should thos problem be resolved, it is 5 stars for the TK app). Obviously, the possibility of sending documents like sick notes through the app is very convenient.
1 ★Contact form does not work when text has apostrophes. It only says that text contains invalid characters but doesn't say which. This is a major problem as apostrophes are very common in English. As the result, an English speaker may not be able to contact reach out to you at all
4 ★Really good application with all the needed features to manage properly your health insurance. I only miss the possibility to use the app in English, because my German level in healthcare related vocabulary it's not so high. When they'll offer a proper translation to English then I'll update my review to 5-stars.
3 ★easy to use. could send the document directly. that is really nice. the fitness program doesn't work great with google fit app. my records disappeared for no reason. really frustrating.
5 ★would be nice to have the app in different languages. At least in English in addition to German. Smart apps detects the system language and shows the app in system language. Hope TK will bring it up soo. Other than that it's a nice app. At least you do not need to go to TK just to submit the krankmeldung paper.
3 ★Is it impossible to connect the Samsung Health biking data with the TK challenge? Apparently only Google Fit data can be added. I drive bike a lot it, the Samsung Health app tracks biking data but I seam to not be able to use it with the TK challenge - that is a big impediment 😞. Are You working on integration of biking data from Samsung Health app? (I already enabled the connection between Samsung Health and TKApp - the steps count data is shared correctly.)
2 ★I understand my data needs to be secure but why make it so complicated when swapping devices. Now I need an additional app? And the PIN for my ID card? I cannot access anything unless I provide these details. Besides that I have the previous login key, my TK Safe key, sms tan and I don't know what else.... This makes it everything but userfriendly. And there are other methods to make an app safe.
1 ★No longer works on my Android Beta. I understand that it is a design decision, but you could've notified about it beforehand. Rolling back to a stable version requires resetting the phone and deleting everything — not the best customer experience.
5 ★Unlike most apps in Germany, this one is really good, eases the need to move and turns operations that required papers and moving to branches things of the past. Now most of those operations can easily be done online through this easy to follow app, which also has an English version! Really pleased with this service, thank you.
5 ★It makes stuff easy. Great interface and functionality (intuitive and nothing is more than a few taps on screen away). Bit annoying initial setup if you don't have German ID, but that's the price you pay for safety.
4 ★Now my TK App works really good. I do had connection problem with my Garmin device and the App at least for 3 Months, but I have to say, that support team was very helpful.It is a bit uncomfortable, that App do not allowed to make screen shot, but other functions are completely ok
5 ★Excellent app that let's you do all the common things you need to do when you want to interact with TK. Especially useful is the feature to upload photos of receipts for refunds. One of the reasons I'm glad I picked TK as my health insurance.
