Elə həmin kəndin orta məktəbində ibtidai sinfilərinin, sonra Masallı rayon Sığıncaq kənd orta məktəbində oxuyarkən təcvid elimini mənimsəmişdir. Dini təhsilini və ilahiyyat elimlərini Azərbaycanın görkəmli, imanlı ruhani alimi mərhum molla Bəylərdən əxz etmişdir. Ustadının yolunu davam etdirərək yiyələndiyi dini və ilahiyyat elmlərini tədris etməklə üzərinə düşən elmin zəkatını əda etmişdir. Uzun müddət Nardaran qəsəbəsində Sahibəz-Zaman (ə.c.) mədrəsəsində sərf, nəhf, əhkam, islam tarixi, əqidə əsasları, fiqh, üsul, məntiq və s. iIahiyyat elmlərini tədris etmişdir. Bakı İslam Universitetinin məzunu və müəllimi olmuşdur. Bir neçə kitab müəllifidir. Hal hazırda Hacı Cavad məscidinin imam cüməsidir.
