Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

User's Reivew

1 ★Didn't work when wanted, like when I was actually IN Death Valley National Park. Just a black screen.
3 ★Maybe tell what the size of the full and minimal map is? I'm expecting the full map to be 1Gb?
2 ★Does not work with Android Lollipop or Marshmallow. Nov. 2017: Upgraded rating to two now that it runs on Android. However, cannot download maps on strong Wi-Fi with plenty of storage (fails after about 10 percent consistently) so of little use in parks.
1 ★I used to be able to login with Facebook to this and their other apps. Now I can't. I've lost all my previously stored stuff. I contacted them late last summer and they said it would be fixed in the fall but it's still not fixed.
5 ★Interesting stuff
5 ★Divided Into Sections - Lots of Helpful Links - Up To Date Info - Room for Expansion - Smooth UI - Professional Feel - Useful and Accurate Photos...There are so many features it's addicting... One suggestion. ..why stop at parks? Seriously I leave for paris in 2 wks and I would KILL for a Chimani France. Going to a np? All you need is Chimani. Going anywhere else? You'll need 3+ apps....come on Chimani..if you're gonna spoil us go all out!!
5 ★For a free app, this was a great. We used it to plan and navigate on the park
5 ★Great guide! Works offline.
3 ★Please add a feature to display the size of downloaded maps, or at least the ability to cancel a large download already in progress. I had to uninstall your app to prevent it from finishing a "full" map download.
