碑銘曰：「賢公和尚，佛門榜樣。不事經懺，遠離利養。嚴持戒律，四眾欽仰。老實念佛，道在平常。淨土大經，諸佛祕藏。一句彌陀，甚深妙禪。百一十二，老當益壯。唯僧讚僧，法門興旺。弘普賢願，表法離障。續佛慧命，功德無量。自在往生，倒駕慈航」。
佛示念佛十種功德
若人受持一佛名號者。見世當獲十種功德利益。
一、晝夜常得諸天大力神將。并諸眷屬。隱形守護。
二、常得二十五大菩薩。如觀世音等。及一切菩薩常隨守護。
三、常為諸佛晝夜護念。阿彌陀佛常放光明。攝受此人。
四、一切惡鬼。若夜叉。羅剎。皆不能害。一切毒蛇。毒龍。毒藥。悉不能害。
五、一切火難。水難。冤賊。刀箭。牢獄。杻枷。橫死。枉死悉皆不受。
六、先所作罪。皆悉消滅。所作冤命。彼蒙解脫。更無執對。
七、夜夢正直。或復夢見阿彌陀佛勝妙色身。
八、心常歡喜。顏色光澤。氣力充盛。所作吉利。
九、常為一切世間人民。恭敬。供養。禮拜。猶如敬佛。
十、命終之時心無怖畏。正念現前。得見阿彌陀佛。并諸菩薩聖眾。手持金臺。接引往生西¬方淨。盡未來際。受勝妙樂。
