Personajes, lugares, alimentos, transportes, objetos o símbolos de la Ciudad de México en 200 emojis resultado de un concurso público. Comparte la CDMX desde tu teclado.La CDMX es la primer urbe del mundo en crear colectivamente, a partir de un concurso público, un paquete de emojis representativos de la megalópolis.
Emoji CDMX fue una convocatoria organizada por el Laboratorio para la Ciudad con el apoyo de The Lift, Design Week México, Estudio 7 y el Abierto Mexicano de Diseño como aliados.
A este concurso abierto a toda la ciudadanía se recibieron alrededor de 100 propuestas de paquetes de emoticonos representativos de la Ciudad de México.
A partir de casi 2,000 imágenes icónicas inspiradas en la CDMX se reunieron 60 emoticonos creados por los tres primeros lugares del concurso:

Ivonne Torres y Martin Cook.
También se incluyeron 140 emoticonos de las menciones honoríficas y una selección del jefe de gobierno, Miguel Ángel Mancera:

Emoji CDMX funciona como un termómetro social que facilita narrar la ciudad, comprender a una capital que constantemente crea significados o nuevos referentes. Además, otorga un referente actual para contar la urbe a nosotros mismos y a los demás.
