Nach dem Schulabschluss und einer kaufmännischen Ausbildung absolvierte er seinen Zivildienst in der Thüringen Klinik in Saalfeld.Er arbeitet als freier Fotograf und Autor und geht im täglichen Leben einer Anstellung als Programmierer und Anwendungsentwickler nach.
Er kehrte zuletzt, nach drei Jahren, aus Hamburg in die Heimat zurück und lebt seit 2010 in der Landeshauptstadt Erfurt.
