বিশিষ্ট সাহাবী আব্দুল্লাহ বিন ওমর রাদিয়াল্লাহু আনহুমা থেকে বর্ণিত, রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম ইরশাদ করেন :
১। ইসলামের ভিত্তি রাখা হয়েছে পাঁচটি বিষয়ের উপর। এ সাক্ষ্য দেয়া যে আল্লাহ তা'আলা ব্যতীত সত্যিকার কোন মা'বূদ (উপাস্য) নেই এবং মুহাম্মদ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম আল্লাহর রাসূল,
২। সালাত কায়েম করা,
৩।যাকাত আদায় করা,
৪। রমযান মাসে সিয়াম পালন করা এবং
৫। বাইতুল্লাহর হজ্ব করা।
কুরআন আল্লাহর বাণী। আল্লাহ ইহা নাযিল করেছেন মুহাম্মাদ (সাঃ)এর উপর। সুতরাং কুরআনের প্রতি আমল করতে চাইলে নবী মুহাম্মাদ (সাঃ)এর নিকট থেকেই জানতে হবে তিনি কিভাবে এই কুরআনের প্রতি আমল করেছেন। তাঁর অনুসরণ না করলে কখনই কুরআন পুরাপুরি রূপে বুঝা যাবে না এবং আমলও করা যাবে না। কেননা কুরআনের প্রতিটি কথার বিবরণ ও ব্যাখ্যার দায়িত্ব আল্লাহ্ তা’আলা তাঁর রাসূল (সাঃ) কে দিয়েছেন।
আমরা কতশত বাংলা বই, বাংলা গল্পের বই, বাংলা সাহিত্যের বই পড়ি অথচ কুরআন হাদিস পড়িনা, নবীর জীবনী পড়িনা ,হাদিসের বাংলা বই যেখানে আল হাদিস শরিফ বাংলা তে পাওয়া যায় তাও পড়িনা। আগে নাহয় আল হাদিস ও হাদিস এর বই আরবি ছিল, এখন তো আরবি থেকে বাংলা অনুবাদ হাদিসের বই পাওয়া যায় শুধু কি তাই? উচ্চারনসহ আল কুরআন বাংলা পর্যন্ত পাওয়া যাচ্ছে।সুতরাং হাদিস বাংলা, কুরআন বাংলা, আল কুরআন বাংলা অনুবাদসহ উচ্চারণ (আল কুরআন বাংলা উচ্চারন) এর বই আর কুরআনের বাংলা উচ্চারণ ও অনুবাদসহ পড়ি।
