Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

5 ★Great application! Easy and the only way I know to download log from BT747 to Android and convert to GPX. Clearing memory option is second great thing. A must have app if you travel without desktop, only with BT747 and Android. Only two issues: - warning box with yes/no questions should be displayed before clearing unit memory - it would be great if it would be possible to define log time or distance intervals.
4 ★I installed the app on a Nexus 7 tablet and downloaded the tracks from a QStarz BT-Q1000 without any problems. The downloaded GPX file was stored in the root folder of the SDCard. I was able to click on the GPX file and imported the track into Locus Pro (an offline map viewer). Everything worked as expected. Next, I installed the app on an HTC Sensation phone (running the Jelly Bean OS) but the app hangs when it tries to communicate with the (properly paired) QStarz GPS.
5 ★This will allow me to travel for three weeks with no worries! Two small cons: I would love to know what some options are about (it would be cool if they would be better described for the non-GPS super savvy user) and I agree with a previous poster that it would be awesome to be able to choose a folder where to put logs. Anyhow, it's wonderful. Thanks!
4 ★Great start. This app is the only way I know to download content of a BT747 GPS to Android. However, the app tends to crash when writing the GPX file (on HTC desire). Usually it doesn't terminate the XML structure leading to problems reading the file in other applications. I have frequently had to kill the process after the application crashes. It would nice if I could choose where the files are saved, rather then just putting them in to the root directory of the SD card.
4 ★Finally good man made this app. It will be perfect if it also download AGPS assist data. I still can't find any apps/method can do it.
