Dodici puntata prodotte dalla Colorado Film di Maurizio Totti che vedranno alla ribalta gli aspiranti comici pronti a conquistare con le loro performance lo scettro di ECCEZIONALE VERAMENTE. Un percorso che vedrà ben 5 serate dedicate alle Selezioni, 4 serate di Quarti di Finale, 2 Semifinali e l'attesa Finalissima che decreterà il nuovo principe della risata.
Confermatissima la giuria, composta da DIEGO ABATANTUONO, PAOLO RUFFINI e SELVAGGIA LUCARELLI. Ad affiancarli un quarto giudice scelto ogni settimana, tra i personaggi dello spettacolo, della cultura, dello sport, del cinema, che al pari degli altri potrà esprimere il proprio voto e avrà anche il potere di ripescare i concorrenti. Tra questi, Alex Zanardi, Enzo Iacchetti, Francesco Mandelli, Antonio Catania, Fabio De Luigi, Elio di Elio e le Storie Tese, Simona Izzo e Ricky Tognazzi.
Altra novità, la presenza di ROBERTO LIPARI (vincitore della prima edizione) che aprirà ai telespettatori le porte del backstage con le sue incursioni nel dietro le quinte, in cui sosterrà e racconterà al pubblico i concorrenti. Inoltre Lipari, chiuderà tutte le puntate le puntate con un monologo.
Al vincitore sarà assegnato un premio che consiste in un contratto biennale per il cinema e la tv con la produzione del programma, la COLORADO FILM, del valore di 100.000 euro.
