1 ★Received 5 Trackers....you do advertise these as being able to place them in such places like cars and other vehicles...which I now understand to be untrue....also the app does not load onto my Android....but I can read into the real story. As these items are not fit for purpose and I believe I have been mis-sold I request a full refund.
1 ★Xy 4 is complete garbage. I never buy advertised stuff advertised on you tube for this exact reason. The ad made it appear to have the ability to track at distance and while moving. It does neither since its connected via blutooth. Its my fault for not doing my due diligence so the responsibility is on me. This is overpriced, weak, and doesnt work 80% of the time. All it seems to do is beep randomly & yes i checked the battery. My reading comprehension isnt in question here.
1 ★piece of garbage. all of mine went into the trash. when it needs to be updated it starts beeping. no notification on the phone just a persistent beep. once you figure out whats making the beep, the install consistently fails. eventually you pull the battery so you can sleep.
1 ★Waste of time, money and energy.. I can see the thing right in front of me and it still says searching. Then about midnight it starts beeping. Completely a joke. I wish this worked just a little but it doesn't.
1 ★Why do I need an account to use my device? I'm tossing in the ewaste bin. They want a bunch of information just to use a purchased device and this wasn't always the case This is alarming. "you will be asked to allow us access to certain information on your device, including your address book, contact data information, SMS messages, SD card contents, location and other system tools. If you do not want us to have access to this information, please do not install or use the XY mobile application."
5 ★I think its awesome.I use them on farm equipment .I check them every day when Im working.ive had things stolen before but now i'll know where to find them👍 thank you
5 ★I really do love XY Findables, it really is the most wonderful thing that has come into my life. I can keep track of my personals right off my phone. But lately the indication mark has been going off the grid, as far as disappearing from the map and then coming back on about 3 hours later!
5 ★Very useful if you are in the habit and losing stuff and can not recall where it was when you had it last! No item too big (I have one in my vehicle and one in my wife's vehicle) and another on a set of keys. Considering placing one or more on garden equipment that are used by other employees.
1 ★Was just testing tag a couple months ago. Decided to play with it a bit more today. Didn't remember where I left the tag. App could only tell me it was located near my house 2 months ago! No clue where it is now. This concept is only useful if everyone in your community has the app installed and running on their phone. Then if your tag comes within Bluetooth range of about 30 ft of one of their phones you would get notified. This might be useful in New York city, but not in my Midwestern town.
1 ★I have the xy 4 and it won't find my phone when it's in sleep mode. What's the point if you can only find it when it's on and you are holding the lost item? Also I've heard there can be security risks keeping your bluetooth on all the time.
4 ★Easy set up, range is limited to blutooth range as I understand it. I placed one on my dog she will be out of blutooth range in about 2 microseconds but with the keep near function I should be able to tell when she makes a great escape and breaks blutooth range with an alert which is pretty cool..she is sweet on the neighbors mutt so im glad i have it
1 ★I got 5 of these thingies, was going to use a couple myself, give the rest to my wife and kids, maybe order more if everyone liked them. But two problems came up right away: 1. It's too bulky. Though I don't like to have a second fob on my keyring, I can live with it, but there's no way I can put one in my wallet. And this was the main reason I bought them. 2. Of the 5 I got and tried, only two worked. The others keep giving me the "failed" message, at least for now. I really wish I had seen these reviews before I bought them. Also, here's a good rule: never buy stuff offered through an ad on Facebook, that site cares about nothing except money.
