Light: Installations by Bruce Munro offers Longwood’s guests the rare opportunity to explore our Gardens after hours. Lake and meadow, forest and field are transformed by these illuminated light works, which make use of ordinary objects to extraordinary effect. Visit eight site-specific installations set throughout the east end of the Gardens and in the Conservatory, where Munro has installed a special exhibit, On Light. Created in the spirit of our founder Pierre S. du Pont, who hosted nighttime garden parties filled with fireworks and illuminated fountains, Light is a tribute to the artful combination of nature and culture that is Longwood Gardens.Designed for both iPhone and iPad, with our app, you can:
