The app provides information on places to go in Bohol, from the famed Chocolate Hills to the beach paradise of Panglao Island and the beautiful Anda town. It also lists things to do during your visit from getting close to the tarsiers, visiting historic churches built during the Spanish times to sampling local delicacies.Bohol Guide also contains a comprehensive list of places to stay in Bohol, whether in the Tagbilaran area or the tourism enclave in Panglao Island or even in faraway Anda. The resorts, hotels and pension houses that are listed are members of the Bohol Association of Hotels, Resorts and Restaurants (BAHRR). The app also contains a portable directory of important contact numbers that include the complete lists of Department of Tourism-accredited tour guides, operators and transport service providers.
Bohol Guide also contains a small section on Binol-anon words and phrases.
Bohol Guide is produced as part of a collaboration among the Bohol Provincial Government, BAHRR, Smart Communications, Inc. and InnoPub Media as part of the nationwide Digital Tourism program.
