1 ★This app badly needs an update. It used to work fine, but right now any time I try to like an item or see my love list, it tells me I have no connection whether I'm on wifi or using data. It is incredibly frustrating and almost unusable. I've tried uninstalling and re-installing the app to no avail. This happened once in the past and when the app updated everything was fine. But I've been dealing with this for over a month now.
2 ★On the plus side, the update fixed the app so that I can finally add items to my favorites again (I hadn't been able to for months). On the downside, I can no longer view my cart and keep getting a page that says, "Hmm, looks like this page doesn’t fit what you were looking for. Try one of these on for size!", so I can't check out. The desktop site has been doing the same thing to me for about 2 months, so I'd been using the app to make purchases. Now I can't even do that!
1 ★Please, modcloth, fix the app! I have to uninstall and reinstall so many times and it still doesnt work 90% of the time. My 1 star rating is only for the app, NOT the business itself or customer service. Sometimes I dont purchase bc I get so annoyed trying to make a purchase through the app that I give up; I can't be the only one!
1 ★I have been a loyal Modcloth shopper for almost a decade, but using this app is a very poor experience. Most of the time I cannot even log in or save favorites, but it's gotten literally unusable so I'm finally leaving a review. I can't even check out or select an item without getting an error that no product can be found. I have to now exclusively use the browser desktop version to purchase from Modcloth, which usually means I'm going to use an alternative that has a functional web experience.
3 ★This app is generally great, as is Modcloth, but it has been so glitchy recently! I am having the same issue as others even after updates. When I'm logged into my account, I can't browse the app or see my cart and get error messages. Logging out let's me browse but kind of defeats the point.... Hope they can get it fixed, because otherwise it is a very user friendly format.
2 ★Every time I complain about this issue, as well as other ModClothers, we get the same canned response, and the issue still does NOT get fixed. I can't imagine that this issue is so overly complicated that it can't be fixed. At this point, I'm beyond frustrated with this app (there are other issues as well) so I will be uninstalling and looking for a new company that sells plus size clothing AND actually has models who fit my body type wearing the clothes that they want me to purchase. #overit
1 ★The app doesn't work, and hasn't since the last update; it displays an error code when I open it. Given the # of people citing this as an issue, MC clearly doesn't care because it has been a month since the last update. Side note: while you can pull up your own wishlist, you can't search for anyone else's. The only way you can get access to someone's wish list is if you ask them to send you the link--- this completely defeats the purpose of a wish list.
1 ★Neither your mobile site or your app works correctly. It's literally INSANE MAKING. I have never seen such incompetent web design... It's just appalling. I can't look at any products. At all. Everything is extremely buggy. I don't even know where to start. I hoped the app would be better than the mobile site, but it didn't fix the problem... What is going on over there!!
1 ★update: now I can't even open the app, it just crashes. swing and a miss! don't get me wrong, I still love the store and the cute stuff modcloth carries, but my patience is wearing thin now. it's been almost a month now since I successfully accessed the app without having to uninstall and reinstall, and judging from other reviews I've read it looks like I'm not the only one having issues. seriously guys, come on, get this fixed already! this has to be costing you business, so why drag it out?
3 ★If the features actually worked, this could be a great app. Most of the articles that I find are very expensive, but I can search through and find some that are on sale, and save them to my wish list. Well that's what I thought I was doing. Little did I know that the wish list feature doesn't even work. If you fix this feature, I might consider actually buying from the app.
1 ★The app has not been working for over a month with the same error code. I cannot believe it has taken this long for a fix. I cannot view any listings! This is definitely affecting my view of the company. Also their customer service used to be so easy to reach and super helpful but has gone down hill in rhe past few years. I've been shopping here for almost 10 years! What a disappointment.
2 ★I have to second the issues raised by other app users - the company is awesome, but the inability to do just about anything in the app when there's a "error: no connection" message staring at you is the height of frustrating. Plus, if you try to bring up the website instead on your mobile device as a workaround, it'll redirect to the app, even when it's still broken. *sigh*
