Esta aplicación pretende guiar al turista a través de una ruta didáctica del megalitismo en el límite entre Cantabria y Bizkaia (Euskadi). De esta forma se dan a conocer los elementos más representativos de época megalítica (túmulos, menhires,...) a través de su puesta en valor y difusión mediante técnicas innovadoras de documentación científica como son el uso del escaneado 3D y la prospección geofísica.Por ello además de presentar los datos habituales de los elementos arqueológicos como nombre, descripción y fotografías, implementa reconstrucciones virtuales con una fuerte
componente didáctica que ayudará al usuario a comprender los hábitos de vida de los entonces pobladores de la zona.
Además de la información arqueológica se añaden otros elementos culturales existentes en el mismo entorno de los megalitos, como son los restos de época romana, medieval o las estructuras más modernas realizadas en los alrededores con motivo de las contiendas bélicas de 1874, última Guerra Carlista, y 1936, Guerra Civil española.
Del mismo modo el turista podrá descargarse la ruta indicada o elegir una ruta personalizada a partir de la primera, pues en la aplicación se incluye información adicional como museos y centros de interpretación visitables que estén próximos, lugares del entorno con alto valor paisajístico e información sobre otros servicios como restaurantes y hoteles.
