Die neue Naturfreude-App bietet eine Auswahl von fertig ausgearbeiteten Rad- und Wandertouren und Trails für Ross und Reiter. Für jede vorgestellte Strecke ist eine ausführliche Beschreibung mit Hinweisen zu Sehenswertem entlang der Strecke (POI, Points of interests) und Angaben zu Weglänge, Schwierigkeitsgrad und Besonderheit verfügbar. Zudem gibt es Literatur- und Kartenempfehlungen, wichtige Adressen für Nachfragen vor Ort sowie Anreisetipps. Ein Höhenprofil zeigt die zu überwindenden Steigungen auf. Luftbild- und Hybrid-Ansichten vermitteln Eindrücke von der Landschaft.
Die Navigation ist einfach zu bedienen. Suchfunktionen ermöglichen, aus den Ausflugsvorschlägen je nach Länge, Schwierigkeitsgrad und Region die passende Route auszuwählen. Für die Orientierung lassen sich topografische Karten generieren. Die verfügbaren Routen werden vom Online-Modus in den Offline-Modus übertragen.
