About The Trustees of Reservations

We enjoy, care for, and share more than 100 of Massachusetts' most
irreplaceable landscapes and landmarks, from beaches, farms, and woodlands,
to historic homes and gardens. And they're all open for everyone to enjoy,
forever. We're a nonprofit and supported by our members, friends,
volunteers, and donors - and we're working together to protect more of the
places we all love, all across the state. See what we're up to lately at

Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

1 ★Explore doesn't work
2 ★The explore does not load anything unless you have ios. It has not worked for me at all but my friend who has apple can use it which makes planning hikes very difficult if she is not around. I feel it just really needs an update to the latest systems. I would also be interested in seeing if that fixes some of the other problems users are reporting. It's a great idea and concept it just needs a lot of fine tuning.
1 ★The explore feature and settings button do not work for me. Also, the sharefeature puts a trustees logo on your selected picture but it uses theoriginal image instead of duplicating it. Would love to see these thingsfixed/changed.
1 ★It just doesn't work. Explore won't load. Click on any event and the appcrashes. I bet the donate button works though.
1 ★Find function doesn't work and settings doesn't open.
2 ★Nothing works, i wish it actually functioned like the website
3 ★I love the idea of this app, and as it exists right now, it's an okay start. Unfortunately, I wish the trail maps in the app were more like the ones on the Trustees website. I like being able to see things like trail names, where the scenic overlooks can be found, the elevations of hills and indications of the steepness of the trail, etc. Without that data, I don't really have much reason to launch the app since I'd rather simply use a PDF reader to access the trail maps I've downloaded.
3 ★A few things I noticed: #1 when I searched using my zip, it did not show all the properties in my own town! Also, there is no indication/option like there is on the website where you know or choose a mileage range. #2 it would be helpful to give the name of the town properties are in on the events list. Not everyone knows where the properties are located and it would save time if you knew right away how far you'd have to travel for an event. #3 Is the "settings" option supposed to function?
1 ★I was psyched to have this app, but it basically crashes EVERY time I click through to see details on a specific site. Pretty much useless to me.
2 ★I have yet to open this app on my HTC One 8 phone and have the events load. Always get an error.
3 ★I was so psyched to walk Rocky Narrows with my GPS and an interactive map. Am I missing something?
1 ★I love the idea of this app, but there's no functionality to it. It failsto load event data and the map feature never works. Please take steps torebuild and relaunch this app. It would be a fantastic resource, if itworked.
