BariEsplora è un'applicazione di realtà aumentata (AR) condivisa che permette di visualizzare utili informazioni relative alla città di Bari. L'utente, semplicemente inquadrando palazzi o momumenti e da ogni angolazione, riceve informazioni inerenti il luogo inquadrato dalla fotocamera del proprio tablet/smartphone sotto forma di:- adesivi informativi colorati cliccabili, contenenti una breve descrizione testuale ed un link ad una pagina web che mostra informazione più dettagliate relative a palazzi storici, esercizi commerciali, punti di ristorazione e luoghi attrattivi della città
- video-oggetti, display virtuali mostrati sullo schermo del dispositivo, contenenti video e/o immagini statiche
- modelli 3d anche animati.
BariEsplora promuove le bellezze artistiche, storiche e culturali della città di Bari anche attraverso la fruizione di materiale audio-visivo, disponibile nella versione per bambini selezionando la modalità "kids" mediante apposito pulsante.
L'utente può:
- selezionare la tipologia dei contenuti di proprio interesse, utilizzando la funzione filtro presente nell'app
- visualizzare la posizione su mappa dei contenuti AR
- inviare una segnalazione o un suggerimento al Comune di Bari, attraverso apposita sezione in app o via mail
- effettuare la registrazione schermo e/o catturare una schermata previo consenso per l'accesso e il salvataggio dei dati sul proprio dispositivo.
