Day counter widget comes in 4 different sizes for home screen and display days, hours and minutes left. It will count down to event and count up once event passes, to count the days after enabling you to track the days passed since event date.

Countdown app has large collection of widgets for home screen. We also have unique resizable list widget that can show all your tracked dates in one place right on your home screen, no need to enter application to see your upcoming events.
In order to add a countdown to your home screen you have to go to your phone's widget menu and find Countdown Widget option. Long press on one of available widget sizes that you want to place on your home screen and drag and drop onto your home screen. Configuration dialog will popup where you can pick your event from the event list, or enter a new title and date to create a new countdown event for home screen.

1 ★Really enjoyed using this app to have a widget that I could easily check to see when certain games would be releasing. However an update just came out that demands way too many permissions from my phone. It worked just fine before, so why would it need this extra permission now suddenly? Guess I'll be finding something else to use. There's also a notification in my tray now that won't go away since the update, very frustrating.
1 ★Not what you expect. The "count down" just counts down by days. This app doesn't tell you how many hours etc. For instance. All day today, my count down will say 40. Because there's 40 days left until my event. Tomorrow it will say 39 etc. But you don't actually see a clock or a timer counting down.
1 ★I had used this app, on and off, for a while. However, I just unistalled due to it changing and requesting permission to access things it didn't need to access. Like my phone, or my files, or what apps I have open. Nope, not gonna do it. And it didn't want to work after I told the app "no" to the permissions it requested. Like, why can't you still work if you don't have access to my phone calls? You worked just fine before. And also, when I said "no", why did it delete all the countdowns I had?
1 ★I used to love this app but with the new permissions for it ruined it for me.. I deleted it and am no longer using. I just need a fun , simple count down nothing more. Its not so serious that I need it up in my phone needing it to manage anything as reminders and such. Disappointed.
5 ★Simple, effective way to look forward to events, which is very helpful these days. Timers can be customized with stickers and photos, though it's slightly unintuitive how to do that.
1 ★It was a good app... Until it wasn't. Suddenly asking for call permissions and showing an overlay when getting phone calls? No way! This has nothing to do with countdown and this app is getting reported as suspicious. I'm out!
