En la primera parte del recorrido, disfrutaremos y observaremos el agua, contenida en sus distintas formas; por medio de grandes y pequeños embalses como Valmayor y Los Arroyos respectivamente y a través complejos lagunares naturalizados; todo ello vertebrado por un pequeño arroyo de importancia geográfica extraordinaria para el entorno escurialense, el arroyo del Tercio, hoy más conocido como arroyo Ladrón.
El agua nos proporcionará la oportunidad de conocer formaciones vegetales de enorme diversidad, así como la gran variedad de fauna asociada a la misma.
En contraste, la segunda parte del recorrido, nos trasladará, por medio de la colada de Navalquejigo (vieja aldea de relevantes connotaciones históricas) y de la Cañada Real Segoviana a descubrir el bosque mediterráneo en estado puro; dehesas, encinares, jarales,… salpicados de paisajes serranos nos acompañaran en este precioso paseo.
