Op jacht naar het crimineel vermogen werken zij intensief samen met andere overheidsorganisaties. Het credo hierbij is: Het maakt niet uit wie het crimineel geld afpakt, als er maar wordt afgepakt.Om het kader van rechtsherstel het wederrechtelijk verkregen voordeel bij de overtreder weg te halen of af te pakken, is de Afpak-app ontwikkeld. Deze app ondersteunt in eerste instantie het keuzeproces voor de inzet van het juiste afpakinstrument, want er zijn theoretisch nogal wat mogelijkheden om dat voordeel ongedaan te maken.
Op eenvoudige wijze worden met behulp van deze app alle mogelijke afpakinstrumenten binnen de rechtsgebieden strafrecht, civiel recht, bestuursrecht en tuchtrecht inzichtelijk gemaakt.
Daarnaast bevordert de app het traceren van vermogen door daar al snel aandacht voor te vragen met een directe verwijzing naar bronnen.
