L'App HORTUSILA, sviluppata nell'ambito del FEASR-PSR CALABRIA 2014-2020 - MISURA 6: Sviluppo delle aziende agricole e delle imprese - Intervento 6.2.1: Aiuto all'avviamento per nuove attività non agricole nelle aree rurali - è stata creata dall'idea imprenditoriale di Biagio Lecce, giovane imprenditore, figlio d'arte, diplomato esperto nella realizzazione di pietanze e bevande a base di piante aromatiche, officinali e spezie, nonché nella realizzazione di menù9 e bevande vegetariane, vegane, e per soggetti intolleranti al lattosio e al glutine.L'App nasce a supporto dell'attività imprenditoriale, avviata anche grazie all'esperienza di Biagio Lecce, ha l'obiettivo di fornire al mercato una serie di servizi integrati per la progettazione, realizzazione e gestione di percorsi didattici di educazione al gusto e all'olfatto che prevedono l'utilizzo di specie autoctone della flora spontanea calabrese. Tale percorso si realizza attraverso l'analisi sensoriale-olfattivo ed eventualmente la degustazione delle piante presenti ovvero foglie, fiori, frutti, tuberi e radici, nella maniera più adatta e salutare per i giovani ragazzi e per le loro famiglie.
Attraverso l'App quindi è possibile avere informazioni sui vari percorsi ed integra gli stessi attraverso schede descrittive delle piante installate nei percorsi creati anche con il supporto vocale e di tecnologie NFC a garanzia dell'accessibilità ai soggetti diversamente abili
