What Else è l’app che ti permette di conoscere gli alimenti simili in termini di apporto calorico proveniente dai tre macronutrienti principali (proteine, carboidrati, grassi).Ad ogni alimento è associato un indice di somiglianza compreso tra 10 (alimento molto simile) e 1 (alimento poco simile).
L’elenco degli alimenti è in continuo aggiornamento e si basa sul database degli alimenti fornito dal ministero dell'alimentazione degli Stati Uniti (USDA National Nutrient Database for Standard Reference).
L’aggiornamento del database degli alimenti non prevede ulteriori aggiornamenti dell’app.
L’app ti permette di:
- Cercare un alimento per nome ed ottenere l’elenco degli alimenti più simili
- Visualizzare per ciascun alimento la scheda completa dei nutrienti di cui è composto
- Modificare le soglie relative ai macronutrienti per modificare la ricerca degli alimenti simili rispetto all'alimento di riferimento
- Visualizzare la composizione completa dei nutrienti per gli alimenti simili estratti
