This app was designed for Minibikes with faulty Speedometers. My personal bike is a X-PRO BD125-10. This bike is new, but read roughly 8mph greater then the actual speed I was Riding at. So, looking into a fix seemed like a waste as I would have spent well over $100 and had to do major wiring mods.So, I made my own with the help of VBE INC. Now, we have this nice little lite weight app that allows for your Music player to run as well. This way you can use your phone as an MP3 player and a Speedometer.
I personally use one of my older phones to run this app on my Mini Bike and it works fantastic. It shows my MPH, Estimated FUEL used and Estimated Tripometer ( Trip Odometer ) with ease.
Plus it has Numerous Colors to choose from and a 0 - 60 Timer for finding out your 0 - 60 time.
Easy to use with your gloves on as well, if your phone is a larger phone.
No special wiring or mechanics skill needed to use. Only thing I added was a Bicycle phone mount to my handle bars.
I hope this helps you guys and gals out with your Chinese Clone Bikes. It may even be useful for other motorcycles with faulty Speedometers as well. Simply because it uses GPS for the Speed and not Tire size.
