Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

User's Reivew

1 ★Keeps returning to home page while I'm reading an article. Poor performance for a premium app. Edit* I'm still reading an article then get kicked back to homepage after a few minutes. I'm paying for this, come on.
2 ★Can't view comments on the app, only on the website. Many articles are repeated in numerous sections in the app.
3 ★"We are constantly updating our app". Blatant lie. Last updated in May 2019 and it really shows.
1 ★Constantly crashing. I have a Samsung S20 Ultra, which has a very fast processor and plenty of Ram but it still can't handle the strain this app puts on the phone. App constantly lags and crashes. Cancelling Subscription!
1 ★I pay money for this subscription and the app is utterly useless. Randomly closes and it shows me ads. Why show me ads on something i have already paid for
2 ★What has happened to this app? It takes 20 minutes to read a 5 minute article. The app keeps switching off.... again and again and again! Please sort it out! It's becoming really annoying!
1 ★The Telegraph app reboots if you switch over to any other app for a second. You have to find the article you were reading all over again and scroll down to where you left off. And you have to do it over and over if you muktitask. I deleted the app and started using the Telegraph website in the browser instead. Which is much better organized, laid out, explorable than the app anyway. One of the worst apps I've used.
1 ★No comments. Links to other articles open in the browser, often crashes, doesn't save position in an article when swapping between apps if you take too long. A absolutely terrible app.
1 ★On the verge out unsubscribing - just resets back to the home screen (slowly) when you're in the middle of reading an article! Content on web also very badly laid-out. Shame - good content, unreadable. Samsung Galaxy S7, Android 8.0.0
1 ★Erm, how this got worse? Well now it just doesn't work!.... Very poor app. You can't change the text size. You can't navigate that well, especially in comparison to their website. Offline usage never actually works, all you get is a spinning wheel then it crashes. You can't even search for an article. Totally useless.
2 ★Indubitably sub-par. The gamut of categories available on the website is only fractionally represented in the app and the lists of available articles in the available categories are truncated. Links to Telegraph articles, within the app, open only in a browser (!) and, of course, the website does not recognize my digital subscription. Do please see the Guardian app for an exemplar.
2 ★Good newspaper, poor app. Glitchy and makes my phone crash. Also lengthy html code shows on the articles sometimes instead of the intended content. Not great.
