Description
This is an original game app, much the same as a quest game, but for tourists, where players search for information in true locations. It unfolds the story of the former owner of Vitkovice Ironworks, Salomon Meyer Rothschild, a member of the famous dynasty of investors, and his mysterious talisman. The app takes you around Ostrava´s points of interest, and at each of these locations, you are given tasks to help you find decodes for Salomon´s Code and clues to the talisman´s hiding place.Obviously, we cannot reveal the exact spots that the player will visit in advance, but we can assure you, that discovering parts of Ostrava will turn into a great adventure.
The application includes elements of the so-called augmented reality, as some stages of the game function only on the basis of image recognition.
The app has almost 300 MB, which is due to the fact that it contains off- line maps and videos clips. These animated clips display characters that know something about the talisman or its whereabouts.
The app has a choice of three scenarios, each with a different duration time. Players can choose between a tough one-day scenario, a simple two- day scenario, and a scenario that can be played over a number of days.
Registered players can view how other players got on with the game and add commentaries to each location.
The game allows to “invite friend”, thus turning the game into a fun contest.
Although this is a smart phones app, it is created in such a way, that it can be an adventure for the whole family or a group of players. In the game the mobile is used more or less as a guide, everything else happens between players and out and about in the city.
