5 ★Better than Zen Fitness C25k, this is more reliable and doesn't crash at the end of my workout. Same thing...with more programs and better reliability. That'll do me.
4 ★This app is great to have. I'm on week 3 and the training plan has been much better than I expected for me! After 2 weeks, my interval times are better than my run times before the app. Totally unexpected! I do wish the GPS was a bit better. Not sure if it is my LG V30 or the app not taking enough measurements, but the distance on non-straight trail runs is way off. I also would love it if the coaches did more than repetitive phrases. It would be great to have real feedback.
1 ★The app sounded very good, but as other reviewers have noted, there is no way to use it without first signing up for an auto-renewing 7 day free trial. TIP --> you need to cancel at least 24-hours in advance so really it is a 6-day free trial. Extremely underhanded business practice. I'll give my families and friends business to some company that is responsible and actually cares about their customers. I suggest you do the same. Companies such as this won't keep pulling this nasty trick if they can't drum up any customers with it.
2 ★I used to use this app (when it was free) and really liked it, but now there is some glitch where I can't hear the coach tell me when it's time to run, walk, etc. Or I can only hear part of what she's saying. My husband has the same issue. When I used it yesterday I had to carry my phone for my whole run so I could watch the screen and know when to switch activities. Not at all convenient and really disappointing.
1 ★I used to love this app and used it all the time. I took a break from running though and when I came back its forcing you to subscribe and if you choose the free option you have to "opt out" before the trial runs out or you'll get charged. to do this I have to sign into my iTunes account but I haven't used iTunes in years so now I'm scrabbling to figure out how to log in. extremely annoyed
2 ★hello i just want to ask a question before subscribing... so please reply fast what is the difference between the "try for free plan" then 10$/month and the yearly subscription which is 20$/year... there is a huge difference between the plans considering the first is for only a month 10$ and the second is for a whole year 20$ can u please elaborate ?
1 ★Im sad to give such a low rating because in the past I have loved using this. But the functionality is so bad that this app in its current state -unusable- at a price of £8,99 pm makes me feel scammed. The audio cues dont work so unless you are someone who uses a treadmill or runs with your phone in your hands you wont be able to follow the audio cues - even without music playing in the background - which is what you're paying for. sort it out! id love to be a customer again!
3 ★I do like the workout plans and am very much enjoying the music playlist..the classical one anyway. The meal plan needs to step up its game though and I would oblige 5 stars. The meal plan should allow you to choose foods, for example, I'm not going to make anything with shrimp, or certain ingredients. Would also like to choose more consistent meals rather than all of these more time consuming meals.
5 ★Unlike many other people's experience based on their reviews, I easily downloaded this and knew I wanted the subscription based on my friend's success with this app. They offered an annual subscription of $19.99 (which will auto-renew but I see no impediments going into my subscription to change that). I've not been bothered by an influx of ads with the premium version. The music is great (though I havent noticed the playlist adjusting tempo for pacing as it says it will). I need to upgrade my phone soon and have been apprehensive as many people say while the app and their subscription continues, they lose their progress. I decided to just finish my current program and upgrading as a reward! In terms of the actual workout, I have been enjoying them - getting back into running after recovering from a bad ankle sprain.
2 ★I have not tried the app so I can't speak to that part of it. I was going to try the 7 day free trial then do a yearly subscription as from the comments it's much cheaper. When you get to the page to choose free trial or subscribe the monthly fee is $2.17/month, when you choose free trial you still have to put your credit card info in and then the fee is $12.99 a month after... Why an extra $120 a year just because I want to try it first? It doesn't seem right.
1 ★I have tried every way I could to manage app, it wont let me do anything. It charged me $49 and the ads it pops up on my phone is ridiculous. Its constant and messes with my phone bad... and I have a brand new one so they cant say it's slow because of phone. I have tried to reach them by email many times and no one will contact me back. I DO NOT WANT TO GET CHARGED AGAIN. The app sucks, this was a lot of money to no be able to use and to have ads. I'm worried they will charge me again because there is no way to turn it off. NONE.. SCAM, DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS, unless you want ads poping up ALL THE TIME, and want to be charged a lot with no way out.
1 ★it won't let you start using the trial until you subscribe for the monthly or yearly subscription plan. yes the app developer says it's easy to manage once you sign up, but why even do it that way? it never used to be like this. also the pricing plans are sneaky. the two options are for monthly payments of $10 OR yearly for $20, but they market the second option as 1.97 a month or something dumb like that. also the voice prompts don't work anymore.
